Some names are either way like Pat and Chris

Then there are some names that ages ago were used by both but now you only see for girls.

i.e.  my son's divorce laywer's first name was Shirley

and don't forget John Wayne, whose real name was Marion Morrison.

Bob Hope's name was Leslie.
