IDE differences Windows 2000/ XP ?

I have a question on the IDE, especially the subroutine box in the taskbar

On windows 2000 i have a listbox with 6 items for the subroutines, while when on XP it has 30 items in them before it scrolls
Is this common , or it is OS specific ?? ( btw i like the 30 items much more    )

It is OS specific, or more specifically common control DLL version specific.
