I've been working on a new lib file, something I haven't done for a good while.

When the IWB compiler builds (or re-builds) the lib file, windows opens a default program which I have to keep closing.

Does anyone else have that problem?

Andy,

It seems your bad news from Friday is carrying over to today! No, I have never seen
that come up when creating a lib. Are you referencing the file in your lib code at all?

No, just changing the lib file, and building up a new one and it gets opened by a default program.

what kind of "program"; iwb, exe, iwp?
does it have any relationship to your library?

Couldn't answer sooner - car problems again!

I'm creating the lib file via a project (iwp).

I've managed to stop windows opening it with a program by removing .lib file associations, but now windows asks me to choose a default app every time I create it.

Off hand, that sounds like a windows problem somehow.
