Hi,

This topic was raised last year and is now in a 'resolved' section ..

However, I'm still experiencing it with IWB3.03 which I've recently loaded in Win 7.

I don't know if it has any relevance, but I chose to install all my IWB and Example files on a logical drive E:\IWBDEV3, not in the default location on the C: drive.

Anyway, my problem is the same as reported previously - if you place the cursor within a keyword and press F1, a rather unstable hourglass icon flickers for a while and then Windows reports IWB not responding.  All you can do is close the IDE and start again.

If you double click or drag to select a keyword, and then press F1, you get the 'Topics Found' dialog box.
However, if you select the keyword from the list and click 'Display', you get an empty IWB User Guide window, with the unstable hour glass, and the program is again reported as 'Not responding'

If you click on 'Cancel' or try to close the Topics dialog, the program stops responding again.

The main Help system is working, so it's not a huge problem, but it seems the F1 method is not working correctly. (I chose the Christmas Tree example for this test).

All the best, :)

Graham,

I know Larry is aware of the problem and working to fix it.
