Sorry guys - I think I caused the latest dork-up.
I ended up restoring from Friday's backup.

SMF just has too many issues and we seem to have an SMF knowledgeable
person who keeps mucking with the forum.

I am going to shop for new forum software - looking for suggestions.

I am a moderator at a Croatian forum specialized in railways and we are using Invision Power forum software. So far the whole forum stuff is very pleased with it. No problems with hackers and it seems that users have accepted it very well after moving on from previous forum software. I'd say it's pretty good bet to use.

I used them, too, and only stopped because nobody signed up.  :D

Hi Larry,

You may wanna have a look here , site with lots of reviews of forum software..  To me ProBoard looks like a great choice..

I've used ProBoards for about 5 years with no problems.
Only negative is it either has ads or you have to pay to remove them.

The IW forum and site have been under attack all week.
I host several other sites and only IW is being attacked.
Today they actually removed files as well as attacking the DB.

I am working with my ISP to see what is going on.

It is strange to me that we get attacked every week - guess someone does
not like IW and is making an effort to shut it down.

Still working on issues.

I found how the hacks were being inserted.
Have a group of IP addresses (all in the same area) that have been turned over to my ISP.
Guess someone did not like us here at IW.

Hope to have blocked it.
