Origin of name Ionic and Aurora

How did you come up with the names for the company and the software. What's behind them?

The northern lights

Ionic Wind = a highly charged partlicle stream, known also as the solar winds.

Besides my first choice IonicStorm was already taken

Aha, the stars again.  I like it. I also think I like this forum better than phpBB.

SMF is supposed to be more secure than phpBB.  And with the latest rash of hackers I figured I would give it a try.

It has a great automated mod/upgrade system.  One button install of mods directly from their server.
