I plan to market a set of tools, hints, guidelines, etc. for Aurora programmers, aimed mostly at folks new to the system. It will consist of stuff I have created for myself and will be a continuously evolving project. The first phase is almost ready (and it will be smallÂÃ,  ;)ÂÃ,  ).

I do not feel right about taking all the advice that I have from people and then turn around and charge them for the result, so it will be my policy to provide a free copy to any member of the forum (at the point of release) who wants it.

Only time will tell if it's worth anything.ÂÃ,  ÂÃ, 8)

Sounds interesting.
I'm in the queue as well.

I will never be done as long as we progress, but I should have the first version ready in a day or two.

It's done.ÂÃ,  ÂÃ, :o

Here is the linkÂÃ,  http://www.campanilesystems.coml

This is only the beginning of what I hope will be a significant undertaking. Please feel free to comment on the good (and the bad) and give suggestions on what you might like to see.

Thanks for all the help.

EDIT: The link has been changed to point just to me web site as the Toolkit is no longer free to the general public. See my latest post.

The free offer for Toolkit has now expired.ÂÃ,  :oÂÃ,

I will sell it separately or in some sort of bundle. However, as previously noted, it will still be available without charge to any member who joined this forum up through September 29, 2006. PM or email for details.

I've added a sort of tutorial to the Toolkit to show how I develeped the HoodMapÂÃ,© application. It is a line-by-line explanation in eleven parts.

For a description of "Version 2" of the Tookit, see http://www.campanilesystems.com/ToolkitData.html.

After a very difficult period of many weeks I now have something that shows how to manipulate the Tree View Control. The exe is attached to this message. I've added the code to the Programmers Toolkit.

Please feel free to let me know how this is working.

It looks and works great.  My only nitpick - the display is wider than my 1024 x 768 screen.

I'm glad it at least works!

I use 1280x1024. Adjusting the code for different screen resolutions would be needed if the program ever becomes more than just a demonstration of the tree control.

Doc

I haven't yet had a chance to work through all of the tutorials, but it sure seems to fill in a lot of blanks that I've had using Aurora to date.

Good stuff Bruce... thanks!
