Embedded Browser or other?

I'm wondering if I can simplify this in any way. I need an application in which the user can do a search on a webpage and then the application would treat the searchresults in different ways, giving the user simple options to do things with the results. The issue is simply that it uses cookies as well as lots of POST's and redirections, so if there's anything anyone can give me a tip about please do. If noone can think of anything else, even an external library would be acceptable as a solution to this.

Dizzy from all the redirections right now. This is painful.

While I'm writing. Is there something similar to VB's "Like" operator that allows wildcard matching?
