It appears to have been quite a while since there was activity here. Is IW Basic finished (as in no longer worked on)?

Rock Ridge Farm (Larry)

No - I am still working on it. Just old and slow.
Looking for younger person to take it over.

Thanks. Unfortunately we are all getting older and the "Homecoder" market is shrinking. There are fewer people who remember when home computers were a future dream. (My first computer at age 21 was a NSScamp microcomputer programmed with swutches and output was a row of leds! I am sorry that my coding skills are not up to being able to assist you.

Well ..situation with indie languages is almost the same
everywhere ...interest for them are very very tiny or not exist at all.
One of options is to use AI to gain development.
all best..

🔥 **To Put This in Perspective:**
GCC took thousands of engineers over 37 years to build (1987-2024)
👨💻 That's like building a car with a single person and their team...

🎯 **The Results Are Mind-Bending:**
✅ Passes 99% of GCC's own torture test suite
✅ Compiles FFmpeg, Redis, PostgreSQL, QEMU
🎮 Runs Doom (yes, really!)

They "mostly walked away" 🤷♂️
But that "mostly" was actually doing ALL the heavy lifting 💪
