Introduction

Hi folks,

I've had this idea, and I wonder what you think about it ..  

While having a look around another site http://forum.codecall.net/, I noticed quite a number of posts from beginners, asking how one gets into programming, which language to choose etc.

It struck me that it might be an idea to start a 'How to Program' thread, with introductory guidance, and interactive response to any questions.

Whether it would be of interest to maybe 1 person in the World - perhaps lots of people - who knows ..    It might just prove popular.

Where else can folk get free tuition - books - evening classes maybe.    But those sources are not very interactive.
