Title: Tiny BUG in EBASIC 1.58 ???
Post by: Junner2003 on January 22, 2007, 12:11:23 AM
Hi there!

I just noticed a few times highligting issues in the EBASIC 1.58 editor (see attachment)
Since I am still quite inexperienced I just wonder if this is just a tiny BUG or more ...  descriptions are not marked green while putting a ' in front of it. As long as this is only an HIGHLIGHTING problem I don't mind - I can type REM if I have to! :)

The editor component is being replace in 1.6 with the Scintilla control, so the hilighting bug is a non issue.

It sees the ' in the word "don't " by the way and thinks it has already colored the text.

Yep, I understand.
It is not a big deal anyway since there is no problem while compiling - just a little bit irritating for newbies like me ;)

Modifying DON'T to DO NOT solved the highlighting problem,
thanks, Paul!

Will 1.6 be coming soon?  Not rushing you.  Just eager and wondering.
