Hi folks,
The help file mentions @LBNERRSPACE as a message when the listbox cannot allocate enough memory to hold all the items being loaded into it.
Anyone know how much 'stuff' it can hold before it blows up .. :)
I was thinking of shovelling lots of strings into one - my idea won't work if it's capacity is very limited .. ::)

I've created list view controls with 5000 rows and 8 columns without problems. I've got 2 Gig of RAM. If you'd like I can double it several time until it blows up and let you know. Don't know the relationship between list view, list box, number of items vs. size of items and RAM though.

On windows 9x system the limit was 32767 items. The total size of all strings is only limited by available memory.
Phew .. big box! .. :)
I'm not likely to fill that up ..
thanks folks, :)
