Rotate a control

Well I'm taking it easy today but here's one I have wondered about for some time...

Let's start with a control, say a button, I wonder of there is a way to rotate it X number of degrees left / right etc?

Sapero posted an example in Ebasic to rotate a bitmap:

I just wonder could this code be adapted to a control?
Maybe we could draw a rectangle, rotate that? and then lock a control to that rotated rectangle?

Just thinking out loud here...
