IWB 3.01 Project close problem

I have only ever had 1 program that used projects.  Using IWB 3.01, I have to close Projects even when the only program that it brings up is a stand alone program.  If I don't close projects first it wants to recompile like a project.  IDE seems to be stuck saying I have a project open, even when I close the project and then exit the IDE, when I bring it back up, the project is still there.

check your IDE OPTIONS
Is Open Last Project On Startup checked?
And if you have a project open and some other single file application it will always compile the project and ignore the single file app.

Un checked the button, seems to have fixed the problem.
