On the 10th of February,  2015, my place burnt down and I lost everything. I had burned my installation copies to a CD including 2.0 beta. even though some of my CD's & DVD's survived, that backup disk didn't.
I purchased it a year ago or so, and need to know if someone can download it again or must I purchase a new copy? I'm in my 60's & disabled on limited income.
Please E-Mail me back and let me know if you can help. (I've had some help from friends, but there are no other people in my friends list that like to create software, which of course, I have to rebuild now.)

I have downloaded the trial version, but even if I could remember my registration code, it probably wouldn't work.

Again...  Can you help?   :)

If you made a purchase a year ago indicates you have have a customer account that you can log into and download  copies of all your purchases.

I did manage, finally, to get in my old email and transfer everything to my new one, but, alas, I didn't have a copy of the original transaction saved there either.  I don't know what else to do at this point.  As I said before, I lost everything because of a fire at the other end of the building from water damage.  I'm probably the ONLY "Cogswell" in the records as the rest of the family is not interested in such things.

Is there an email that I can contact the authors, maybe?

Like I said, if it was only a year ago just sign in to your customer account and download the items you purchased.
You don't need anything else.

Going back over your post, at first you said "my place burnt down and I lost everything" and then in your second post you said "I lost everything because of a fire at the other end of the building from water damage."

So, your DVDs weren't actually destroyed by fire; they got wet.  If you didn't throw them away should be fine once you dry them off.
