I try to avoid this question, but I am about to undertake a major project and would like to do it in Version 3. Hiow close are we to an official release date?

That's a valid question.

My part, the IDE, is currently semi-stalled on the debugger.  It's hair pulling trial and error.
The new IDE is currently able to compile and link projects using the existing compiler and linker.
It just doesn't have a working debugger.

LarryS's part is the compiler/linker.  I have no idea where he is at on it.  He'll have to respond.
And when he gets them done I have no idea what I will need to change, if anything, to accommodate them.

What feature are you looking for?

The 64 bit is currently moving very slow - all in-line assembly code has to be re-written.
The 32 bit version will release as soon as the new IDE is ready.
I still do not have much free time - work is keeping me busy about 12-14 hrs/day.
