I am a new comer on scene.

I found about this product in projectf.org site, here: http://projectf.org/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=771:creative-basic-101&Itemid=9

The last line of features states that it is IBasic Standard compatible. What are these standard?

TIA

It means that Creative Basic is compatible with Ibasic Standard, which is a basic language not longer supported.
If you start using Creative Basic, you can find lots of tips and code examples that can be used in the Ibasic Std section of http://www.codingmonkeys.com/
