HypEdit v013 Beta

In response to huge public demand, whining, and cajoling, HypEdit v013 Beta is now available for testing at http://hytext.com/hypedit/hypedit.zip

Expand the zip into its own (built-in) folder, and run from there. No installation, registry, ini-file, or mystery setup needed. Look at the Help HTML file, go through the demo.txt file, use the demonbr.txt file for playing around with navigation, linking, and page creation/renaming/deletion and stuff like that there, and take the personality test to see if you're qualified to be messing around with a complex, monstrous 137k application like HypEdit.

Please note that this is a BETA release, and we all know what THAT means. There are a couple of minor quirks I'm still working on, might be some major glitches that the expected horde of stalwart testers will discover and document, and another feature - Global Search and Hotlink List - that I will add before RC-1.

HypEdit is (will be) freeware, an entry-level tool useful in its own right, to build a base of happy users from whose numbers might arise a group of uber-geeks eager to pay a bit for a more muscular version.

I just uploaded version 013c to the download link. I added a status bar to tell you what file was loaded, when it is saved or saved-as, and which page you just jumped from. Also added a "Save" button, to make it easy to preserve changes as-you-go. Also have implemented a possible fix for the occasional accumulation of garbage text at the end of a page after editing and jumping. Thanks for your patience and forbearance.
