Program icon for project?

When I compiled as a single program, I was able to choose an icon for my little app. But when I got big pretensions, and built it as a project (want to add some resource files), I no longer had that choice, and I can't find a way to do it through the IDE. Is this one of those things that I should plug in as a resource?
