Larry S has kindly allowed me to post a free copy of the original Creative Version 1.0 .. ;D
No activation is required. It can be installed anywhere you like.
This system is small (4Mb) and makes no changes to your computer. It is capable of many types of applications, has a good Help file, lots of Examples. and an excellent Debugging facility to find the inevitable coding errors.
I use this one myself, as it's been tried and tested for many years - so the only problems you should find, are from your own coding :P
If you've 'upgraded' Windows (if that's the right word), to Vista or Win 7/8 .. ::) you will be missing a file to get 3D graphics working. Microsoft in their wisdom (or their drive to kill off legacy software), have seen fit to leave the file d3drm.dll out of their recent offerings.
I've attached a copy - just place it in your Windows System32 folder and all will be well .. ;D
Any problems, let me know.
Best wishes, :)
A few notes on installing Creative .. :)
