Title: Aurora now back in the fold
Post by: Rock Ridge Farm (Larry) on May 13, 2010, 12:13:03 PM
I just concluded an agreement with the new owner of Aurora.
It is now officially back under the IonicWind banner.
IonicWind will be the contact point for all things Aurora.

He has set the price of Aurora at $49.00 and is working on a new release.
The nice thing is that is is now supported once more.

I will be adding Aurora to the main web site and you can consider it alive and well.

Good news. Is there a chance the owner might post something here?

Very good to hear this.
Aurora deserves to live.

Agreed, i've been holding my breath :) Still wondering though, what about those of us who have purchased it years (?) ago? Do we need to repurchase, or are we ok?

I will check with the new owner.
I suspect that any new release will need a re-purchase.
Typically in the world of software each major point issue is a new purchase.
I know that Paul made many different deals - I try to accommodate these on
products owned by IW but can not speak for the Aurora product.
When I know the final method I will post it here.

Thanks for the info. That would definitely make a difference if I will continue to use this product.
