okay i would like to be abel to send data between two computers over the internet. now i want to use a sever as little as posable and i don't know if the other computer will be abel to configer the router. all i will be sending is numbers nothing over 4 bytes at a time. i have no idea how i can do this as i've never realy worked with networks in any depth so my qustion is how can i do this? i don't need examples at this point i just want to know what i need to learn before i can make this work. in other word what would you do?
