Would anyone who has a great understanding of COM/COM+ be willing to share a "Beginner's Guide to COM".. if you have a document, that's great or even an easy-to-understand book that explains the elements, their roles, requirements and limitations.. I'm working on creating some applications where COM will be critical.
Like how can I know if an interface is included in Aurora, when do I need to import. What are the nuts and bolts of creating a COM interface that's usable in Aurora. I have reverse-engineered the shell com api example, but there are some gaps for using the same code with other interfaces.
Any help would be appreciated..
