Title: Windows O/S versions
Post by: Brian on January 04, 2014, 09:21:37 AM
Hi,

I am just in the process of sorting out a new desktop, mini tower type

Can't decide whether to get Windows 7 or Windows 8, 32-bit or 64-bit. I had a feeling that
Windows 8 was more for laptops and touchscreen stuff - am I right?

And also - the main point - will I be able to run IWB on a 64-bit system?

The computer I've been doing all my programming on for the last couple of years is a 64 bit win 7 machine.

As for win 7 / 8.  I personally want no part of win 8.

Hi,

Developed my applications for electronic interfaces with Windows XP Professional en Run en Debug with Windows 7 Professional. I love this two versions very well.

Kind regards
