Title: 1st screenshots
Post by: LarryMc on December 19, 2011, 09:15:35 AM
#1 shows the ide with small toolbar buttons
#2 is with medium buttons
#3 is with large buttons

#2 is the default and is user selectable

all user configuration info will be stored in an INI file and not in the registry

notice that the editor windows contain the subroutine and include comboboxes like the current IDE.
the difference is in the go to line operations.
it will be able to hold multiple line numbers(it will become the BOOKMARK feature which is currently buried in the menu system)  the buttons to the right are for going to the selected line, adding a line/bookmark, deleting an entry, and deleting all entries.  My intent is to save these values for all open windows when the IDE is closed so that they can be restored when the IDE is reopened.

I think it looks very clean and appealing to the eyes.

I like Screenshot No 3 - it looks modern and more like programs we
get nowadays

If your screen is big enough then opt for the big buttons... that's what I do.
I added the small and medium for people who don't have big screens.

Very nice ..  ;D

'all user configuration info will be stored in an INI file and not in the registry'

.. and very sensible.  I've never liked applications using the registry.

best wishes, :)
