When installing an update to Aurora. Is it absolutely necessary to uninstall fiirst or will the update overwrite with the new stuff? It's a little inconvenient to have to uninstall than reinstall.
Only to make sure you have the latest example files. If you modify an example program the installer might not overwrite it with the newest one in the archive. So while we are in Alpha, and the examples are changing pretty much every build, then yes it is recommended.
Your choice of course.
I dont uninstall because everytime i do the IDE layout goes back to its default layout and i like it different.

You could just delete the example source files before reinstalling then. Or copy them somewhere else if you want to modify them.
