Title: Artificial intelligence for gui analysis
Post by: psevet on November 09, 2009, 12:55:08 PM
Hello,

I tought this website could be of some use to help design an attractive gui :

http://www.feng-gui.com/default.aspx (http://www.feng-gui.com/default.aspx)

Its purpose is to simulate human vision during the first 5 seconds of exposure to visuals and create heatmaps based on an algorithm that predicts what a real human would be most likely to look at.

Enjoy,

Pierre

I must say, after reading about how that works, it's pretty cool. It was quite accurate, too, when I compared how I looked at something as opposed to how it tracked it. Thanks for sharing that! :)

I can see how that could be useful for GUI design.
