Print Page - tried to compile a file No input file is given

Title: tried to compile a file No input file is given

I loaded a file into the ide and wanted to do a single build.
I pressed execute and build and nothing happens.
I get this message "no input file "
What gives. Can anyone explain?
If i start eb over, load a file, then try to compile it compiles.

Sure. You had an empty project open. "Build Single" is available when no project is opened. Next time that happens look on the File menu and choose "Close Project".

In between families at the time. Got one more stop this evening before I can put my feet up for the night, and then tomorrow my daughter and her fiance are coming over to exchange gifts and have dinner. So I'll be busy until the weekend.
