Title: How many of you knew this?
Post by: Vikki on November 28, 2006, 05:42:47 PM
I suppose this feature is listed somewhere but I just came across it and I think it's the bomb!ÂÃ,  :)

Highlight any keyword in the ide and right click on it. At the bottom of the right click menu is a Search Help option that searches the help for you and lists several things for you to look at. What a cool feature! Sure makes it easier on me and actually brings up more relevant results than using the search function in the help file proper.ÂÃ,  8)

I *think* highlighting the word and hitting the F1 key does the same thing. I use F1 all the time.

It is a standard feature for any coding editor that wants to be called like one. The Blitz products have it, IndeED has it and many more. Nothing new. Same goes for an auto completition feature.
