Title: FreeBSD with Emergence BASIC ?
Post by: dalescott on March 13, 2009, 11:28:44 AM
Does anyone care to speculate whether EmergenceBASIC will work under FreeBSD? I built a web server once with RH and had a cursory look at Ubunto from a user perspective (a "could I get my mother to switch from windows" type of look), but recently I've been digging into FreeBSD to sort out a motherboard and system drive failure in my FreeNAS/FreeBSD box. My world would be simplier if I could limit  myself to just one non-Windows OS for now (and come to think of it, I've actually logged more hours on UNIX than Linux).

And finally (and this is probably obvious to everyone but me), can someone please explain what "IWLP" means?

Dale

Thanks Larry, I knew it was going to be something obvious!
