A few years ago, Roger posted a great little program in IBPro for generating all sorts of weird sounds.

I hope he doesn't mind me re-visiting it with a few extensions and changes for Creative use ..  :)

You can always tell a program written by Roger .. HeUsesVeryLongVariableNames ..  ;D ;D

all the best, :)

 :) .. well almost right .. I meant VariableNames actually ..  ;D

I'm a naughty person - I like:   x = y + 5

I use i, j, k and a$, b$, c$ .. a lot as well ..  :)

Of course you really need a decent user guide then to describe the algorithm and variables, so it all makes sense to other folk ..

best wishes, :)

Graham

As I can't remember what I wrote yesterday, I find loooooong variable names to be very helpful.   :D

I guess my sight was blinded by some sort of "known facts".
At my first reading, I understood "HeUsesVeryLongVariableNames"
If i was asked, i could swear that what i read wasn't "HeUsesVeryLongFileNames".
I assume that is why we are often told not to rely too much on what our eyes see.
:)

And that blindness, my friend, is not only the source of many bugs, but one of the greatest deterrents to finding them.
