 if the On Startup - Load Files IDE option is set:

Code is now in place that saves the screen location and size of each open  code window when the IDE is closed.
The next time the IDE is opened the windows will automatically be reopened with the proper location, size and order.

NOTE: this is the way the current IDE works and is not optional.

What's different is that the new IDE will automatically scroll each window to the location it was at when the IDE was closed.
