Ionic Wind Support Team

I used it a couple of years ago.  Seemed to be a nice editor.

Whats the difference between the lite and pro versions?

Tempting, I added a link to it on my hawk-systems website.

I try to keep good links there of interesting projects.
Doubt I will buy it though, although B3D format export from it has me very tempted.

The ability to use DDS textures is interesting.

Isn't DDS the format that Adobe Photoshop uses with layers?

Ionic Wind Support Team

Direct Draw Surface format.  It's the raw texture format used by DirectX, which can be compressed quite significantly.

nvidia has a free plugin to allow you to use dds in photoshop and also a download to allow you to see dds files in windows as thumbnails.

I can see them in XP as thumbnails now.

They have a nice free fx composer too, I played with it a few years ago, but have so much else to learn set it aside, but always kept a mental note that it is there.
