menu items and Vista - strange behavior

Hi!

I am experincing a strange problems with menus in Vista.  Sometimes, hovering with the mouse cursor over active menu items, they get shifted upward and look strange (see "start" and "Stop" menu items attached screenshot)

Have anybody of you already experienced (and solved) this problem?

Never experienced, but not surprising with Vista.

You should include a manifest file with your application.  Might solve the problem.  Copy the one that comes with Emergence, ebdev.exe.manifest, and rename it to match your executable name.  Put it in the same directory as the executable.

Hi Paul, I'll try to do it.

In the meantime I did some other test, it seems to deal with Aero, chenging the theme to  the classic Windows XP,  everything goes fine.....

I'll keep you informed.
